Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. And with your help, we can achieve our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Please join us in supporting our community by attending our annual Raise the Roof Gala on November 12th at 6:30 pm.

Your support allows us to continue to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for those who need it most. As a result, we are now starting construction on our next home in Northern Utah. It is an honor to help families in our community achieve the goal of homeownership.

We are excited to partner with the Haro family. Danika and Everardo are immigrants who have worked hard to achieve citizenship and have three children, Inez, Jonas, and Jacob. Having a home that is safe and secure is very important to the Haro family. Both Danika and Everardo are profoundly deaf, and their oldest son, Inez, has Autism and is non-verbal. This home will give them the peace of mind that comes with setting down roots for their children, bringing structure and routine that will help Inez, Jonas and Jacob feel secure and safe, and where the children will have the freedom to run and play. The Haro family is grateful to have this life-changing opportunity of owning a home of their own, where they don't have to worry and where their children can thrive.

At Habitat for Humanity, we believe in giving families a "hand up," not a "hand out." Like the Haro's, partner families work alongside professionals, volunteers, and family members to build their own homes. Once their home is completed, partner families pay an affordable, no-interest loan. Over the last 39 years, we have seen how owning a home has blessed families in our community. Our homeowners have shared with us stories of hope, confidence gained, community cherished, and generations inspired. Through them, we have come to understand more fully why home matters.

You can help Habitat for Humanity of Northern Utah and families like the Haro's by purchasing tickets to this event, sponsoring a table, donating items for the live or silent auction, or making a direct donation.
